Frequently Asked Questions
What are eyelash extensions?
They are semi-permanent, synthetic lashes that are glued individually to your natural lashes through the use of a small amount of lash adhesive.
They are placed on individually near the base of your natural lashes. The extensions or the glue will not come into contact with your skin or eyes, only directly on your natural lashes.
It’s a non-invasive treatment. Lash extensions is not the same as strip lashes.
Do eyelash extensions hurt?
Eyelash extensions do not hurt when applied correctly.
They are applied with professional tools by isolating one lash, and adhering one extension to your natural lash for classic lashes or fans for volume lashes.
We put on an under eye gel pads and tape to prevent discomfort and secure your bottom eyelashes and aid in application.
Will eyelash extensions cause any damage to my natural lashes?
With the proper application and aftercare, lash extensions will not cause damage to your natural lashes and you will be able to continue to refill your lashes without needing to take any breaks.
If you are concerned about the state of your natural lashes, please talk to your lash technician so that she can explain further.
How long do eyelash extensions last for?
If you are getting eyelash extensions for a one-time event, it will take approximately 5-6 weeks for all of the extensions to fall out gradually by themself.
If you would like to upkeep your eyelashes extensions and keep them looking full, you will need to book a fill every 2-4 weeks with at least 50% of the extensions remaining.
What is the difference between a “set” and a “fill”?
If you have no lash extensions on currently, you will need to book a full set! We will create a brand new set of customized lash extensions for you.
A fill appointment can be booked for the upkeep of your eyelash extensions.
At the appointment, we will first remove your outgrown extensions and then refill them along with any extensions that have fallen out since the last appointment.
